Guided Meditation for Beginners
This is a short breathing meditation great for beginners and anyone who wants to tune into being present and peaceful.
Taking your attention to your breathe is a powerful practice. It can help you to feel still and restore balance to your body. Focusing on your breathing helps your nervous system to calm, taking yourself out of fight and flight mode. When you feel more balanced and peaceful after consciously breathing for only a few minutes, your body has a chance to restore and heal.
Your mind will benefit from the peaceful feelings that are created while focusing on your breathing. Feelings of stress and urgency will reduce and you can re-establish balance and peace within. You have more chance of experiencing clarity and focused thinking after consciously breathing.
Becoming aware of your breathing is a cornerstone of meditation and if you can feel yourself relax while putting all your attention on your breathe, you are meditating!! yayee 🙂
Get into a comfortable position, sitting or lying down, close your eyes and relax, breathe deeply.
